Technology Fit Log tab

Xelacores garment technology module records your style progression as it moves through the compliance process.

Key order details are displayed at the top of the Fit Log screen, non-editable fields are shown with a greyed background that signifies that they are defined by another Xelacore module and cannot be amended at this level.

The technician pays particular attention to the "Seal by" date, which signifies the date by which all issues must be completed to meet production deadlines.

Days left will display in the list view and should be reviewed as part of the workflow to action the most critical. If this shows as a negative number you have missed the Seal by target date and may not be able to maintain the Delivery date to the customer so the Sales team need to be informed.

  • Fit logs are an important part of the critical path process, and once created, they cannot be deleted.
  • Xelacore displays the "Last fit" status on the critical path, the technician MUST ensure that all required fields are completed.
  • If an additional "Fit" is created in error, the Technician must copy the previous fields to the "Last Fit" in order to update the critical path.

The technician selects their name from the drop-down list and defines the current state of progress from the "Garment tech status" drop-down.

Fit logs are created from the "Actions" button and choosing the "Add fit" option

Fit logs form part of the style auditing process and once created they cannot be removed.

The technician enters a name for the "Fit name" then changes the submission status via the "Fit status" drop-down, and defines the date. The style may have been created by a separate member of the design team and then passed to a production pattern cutter. The technician can update the pattern cutter and machinist name and date of completion via the appropriate fields

Any Images from fit sessions with the Clients can be uploaded here to keep the records of changes requested.

The List View (critical path) updates automatically and shows the last "active" fit log.

In Technology and Production Order list views they also display how many fit logs have been created so that this can be monitored for improvement
