Clients may buy 'Greige' Fabric or Trims that are to be dyed or printed at a later date but they want to secure fabrics or buy in bulk for a price advantage. These components can be set up and purchased and then transformed when the decision on colour or print has been made.
See Transform Components / Purchase Order
The 'greige' component can be added to the costing with the treatment cost so that this included and calculated in the profit margin
See Transform components / Costing Page for more detail
The 'greige' can be allocated against the Production Order to secure the fabric until it is sent to the Supplier to dye or print.
Once the Client has confirmed the colour/print required for this production order you can then delete the 'greige' allocation, associate the transformed component and then allocate.
Note; You cannot order a transformed component from the allocation page on a production order. you have to transform quantity required on the original 'greige' purchase order then this will display available fro allocation.
